You are cordially invited to participate in a retreat led by Master Sando Kaisen at the monastery Pic Lumineux in Dordogne.
Each retreat is an occasion to practice silent seated meditation zazen multiple times a day, to participate in manual labor connected with the upkeep of the monastery and its gardens, shared meals, and moments of rest in the garden or by the pool.
It is an opportunity to interact with the master and with a community of practitioners from many nations, and to deepen one's practice.
It is a unique opportunity to forget oneself and follow the natural rhythm of one's surroundings, harmonizing oneself with others and with the wider world.
During zazens, Master Sando Kaisen provides teachings in the form of kusens. It is also possible to ask him questions directly during mondos. The kusens and mondos are given in French, with extemporaneous translation into Czech, Polish or Russian (the language of translation is indicated in the title of the event).
The number of participants is limited to 25 people to maintain a personal and friendly atmosphere.
Beginning: arriving before dinner (between 16.00 and 20.00)
End: after lunch and cleaning of the premises (around 16.00)
The contribution is 480€ per person for the 9 days of the retreat. This amount is all-inclusive, covering teaching, accommodation, meals, etc.
