Loneliness<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Man is born alone, goes through life alone and dies alone.
These were the words of Master Sawaki and those of Deshimaru.
Whatever I can feel, the other cannot. Everything I see, the other sees differently.
None of my dreams are understood by the other.
Everything I see, smell, taste, hear or touch is foreign to others.
No one can understand my mind.
You look at the other person through the filters of your own mind and reality escapes.
The man can no longer see.
The loneliness is very great for the person who guides others.
He had no friends and the disciples did not seek to understand his teaching.
Their personal and social lives take up most of their time and what little time they have left, they use to come to retreats to escape this noisy and deaf world.
An authentic master devotes his entire life to the study of the Way. He knows neither rest nor distraction. Everything around him is a pretext for study. For him, nothing is outside the great Way.
Those who have made empty vows are afraid to approach the master because of their empty vows, and as a result they cannot become intimate or friends.
That's how the world goes.
Neither friend nor disciple.
Fear comes from a conscience that is not at peace, and those who leave, to justify their departure, criticise the master - for it is well known that the disciple is always right.
Why are human beings such cowards?
I can't understand men.
This is not a new phenomenon. It has always been this way.
Small minds always give themselves importance.
They embark on a path and then, without going all the way, branch off in other directions. Being faithful to your vows is the first quality to develop.
Being true to your vows means above all being true to yourself.
When you betray yourself, what's left?
People today are no longer guided by their hearts but by stupidity and unconsciousness.
When they leave, they find themselves with others who are like them, who don't appreciate each other but who have to put up with each other by force of circumstance and pretend to love each other.
It's ironic and sad.
Everyone is tired of looking for gold in the trees.
In the meantime, we forget to really live.
To live is to live as an upright and independent man.
As long as people have no rights or independence, how can they live together?
Without high values, bravery, constancy and heart, all that's left is a bunch of scoundrels and egotists.
I think the days of the spiritual masters are over.
If men continue in this direction, after this last generation, the one who indicated the Way will be no more.
Only suffering and slavery will remain.
There will be no place to breathe the wind of true freedom and no words to awaken.
The lineages will collapse and the transmission of the Buddha will die out.
The selfishness of today's disciples will extinguish the flame of the Awakened Ones of the past.
That's how I see it.
This is not pessimism, but a sobering observation.
Man is running in the direction of so-called evolution without knowing what evolution means or where it is heading.
May my words shake the world of certainties and restore sight to the blind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Men come and go and the mountain remains.
Faith has deserted the Heart.
There is no longer any bridge between the mind and the Source.
Faith has dried up and thoughts no longer have a master.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I'm a painter and the mind is the canvas.
The mind is the universe in image.
Nature eternal and indestructible
Is our Essence.
It gives life to everything,
Its breath is the breath of life itself.
The earth is good and it's good to smell its fragrances.
May future generations walk on your body
With firm, gentle steps.
We forget that we're putting our feet down
About the past, present and future.
Every step of the way echoes the spirit of the ancients.
In the pond, the toad never lets me out of his sight.
Is a good and loyal man looking at me?
The crows finish their speech
And the trees fell silent.
In memory of the first age,
The one where we received the light
Of the Body of pure Essence,
I burn incense for the happiness of all beings.
