Autumn retreat – France, Czech Republic, Slovakia

You are invited to take part in a retreat led by Master Sando Kaisen at the Pic Lumineux Monastery in the Dordogne.

A retreat is an opportunity to practise silent sitting. zazen – several times a day, participate in manual labour, communal meals and relaxation time in the garden.

This is a unique opportunity to meet the master and the community of practitioners from different countries and to deepen your practice.
It is a special opportunity to forget yourself and follow the natural rhythm of things, harmonising with others and the outside world.

During the zazens, Master Sando Kaisen teaches in the form of kusens.
It is also possible to ask him questions directly during the mondos.
The kusens and mondos are given in French and translated into Czech.

The number of places is limited to 25 people to maintain a personal and friendly atmosphere.

Start : 23 August, arrival before dinner (between 4pm and 8pm)
End : On 31 August, after lunch and cleaning up the venue (around 4 p.m.)

The contribution is €480 per person for the 9-day retreat.
Everything is included in this price (tuition, accommodation, meals, etc.).

What to bring :

• for zazen, a loose, comfortable black or dark garment
• to enter and exit the dojo quickly, – zori – or flat sandals
• Appropriate clothing and footwear for working outdoors.
• 3 bowls and cutlery
• toiletries

There are zafus (cushion) and futons (mats) for zazen available on site.
