Autumn retreat – France, Poland, Ukraine

You are invited to take part in a retreat led by Master Sando Kaisen at the Pic Lumineux Monastery in the Dordogne.

A retreat is an opportunity to practise silent sitting (zazen) several times a day, to take part in manual work, communal meals, and moments of relaxation in the garden or by the swimming pool.

This is a unique opportunity to meet the master and the community of practitioners from different countries, and to deepen one’s practice.
It is a unique opportunity to lose oneself and go with the natural flow of things, finding harmony with others and the outside world.

During the zazens, Master Sando Kaisen teaches in the form of kusens.
It is also possible to ask him questions directly during the mondos.
The kusens and mondos are given in French and translated into Polish.

Places are limited to 25 people to ensure a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Start : le 2 octobre, arriving before dinner (between 4 pm and 8 pm)
End : le 10 octobre, after lunch and once the premises have been tidied up (around 4 pm)

The contribution is 480 € per person for retirement.
Everything is included in this price (tuition, accommodation, meals, etc.).

What to bring :

• for zazen, loose-fitting, comfortable clothing in black or a dark colour; ;
• to get in and out of the dojo quickly, some zori or flat sandals; ;
• suitable clothing and footwear for working outdoors; ;
• 3 bowls and some cutlery; ;
• toiletries.

Some zafus (cushions) and futons (mats) for zazen are also available on site.
