Dharma is life and the teaching of life.
Studying the Dharma therefore means studying oneself as well as all the Buddhist methods and teachings that invite us to clarify our existence.
The study of Dharma is not about acquiring knowledge but transforming one's own life, even if, in practical terms, we must study the texts and scriptures.
It is primarily about the Spirit of Awakening, the master-disciple relationship, the Foundation, and the Precepts.
If the relationship with the master is not right, the Dharma will not flourish.
The Dharma is the teaching of liberation.
Sitting is not a method or technique but an attitude, that of already being in liberation.
The «self», the ego, is illusory, and this illusion is the source of all human problems.
Putting an end to this illusion, extinguishing the ego, abandoning it, freeing oneself from it, puts a definitive end to all unhappiness, discomfort, malaise, dissatisfaction, disappointment, nostalgia, etc.
Whatever it is, it is not my ego.
Whatever it is, it is not mine, and I am not that.
In all human existence there is a possibility of transcendent Knowledge, which is Knowledge beyond mental, dialectical, intellectual, rational, and discriminative knowledge.
This «power», which is beyond the psyche, indefinable, indescribable, impossible to describe, can awaken and become a force that makes one see the illusion of phenomena, and therefore the illusion of the self. This force gives access to the Unconditioned, to the Absolute, to the total abandonment of everything.
phenomenon, and therefore of the illusory self, and shows the definitive end of all unhappiness.
This means: understanding exactly what Dharma is and what one is oneself.
One cannot truly appreciate the wonderful, precious nature of the Dharma until one understands who one is: if one does not realise that human existence, which is ours, is something quite exceptional, one cannot give the Dharma its full value.
You can spend your whole life finding victims and culprits, complaining about the unfair society you live in, and going to sleep with a heavy heart because you feel powerless.
Or you can take action.
You can accept that the causes of suffering do not come from outside but from the mind of each of us.
If you accept this observation, you agree to work on yourself so that suffering disappears from your life.
If you wake up in a bad mood one morning, you will see evil and obstacles everywhere around you and you will be irritated when driving your car.
On the other hand, if you wake up in a good mood and feeling calm, life will seem bright and peaceful.
As soon as you put your foot on the ground, do not lose the sensation of walking on the ground, remain present in every moment and do not stray from what you are doing.
There is a way out, and that way out is you.
