Autumn retreat – France, Poland, Ukraine

You are invited to take part in a retreat led by Master Sando Kaisen at the Pic Lumineux Monastery in the Dordogne.

A retreat is an opportunity to practise silent sitting – zazen – several times a day, to participate in manual labour, communal meals, and moments of relaxation in the garden or by the pool.

It's a unique opportunity to meet the master and the community of practitioners from different countries, and to deepen your practice.
It's a great opportunity to forget yourself and follow the natural rhythm of things, in harmony with others and the outside world.

During the zazens, Master Sando Kaisen teaches in the form of kusens.
It is also possible to ask him questions directly during the mondos.
The kusens and mondos are given in French and translated into Polish.

The number of places is limited to 25 people to maintain a personal and friendly atmosphere.

Start : 2 October, arriving before dinner (between 4pm and 8pm)
End : 10 October, after lunch and clean-up (around 4pm)

The contribution is €480 per person for the 9-day retreat.
Everything is included in this price (teaching, accommodation, meals, etc.).

What to bring :

• for zazen, a loose, comfortable black or dark garment
• to get in and out of the dojo quickly. zori - or sandals without heels
• appropriate clothing and footwear for outdoor work
• 3 bowls and cutlery
• toiletries

There are zafus (cushion) and futons (mats) for zazen available on site.
